Overview
Zynta ("we," "our," or "us") is built by Fortified Press LLC. We take your privacy seriously, especially given the sensitive health data you trust us with. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
Zynta is designed for people taking GLP-1 medications. The data you enter — injections, weight, symptoms, nutrition — stays yours. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running the app for you.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and first name. If you sign in with Apple, we receive only what Apple shares (typically a private relay email address).
Health & Wellness Data
The core of Zynta is tracking your GLP-1 journey. This includes:
- Weight logs and goal weight
- Injection or dose logs (medication name, dose, date, injection site)
- Symptom and side effect logs
- Nutrition logs (meals, calories, macros)
- Workout logs and workout plans
- Body measurements and progress photos
Apple Health Data (Optional)
If you grant permission, Zynta reads the following data from Apple Health on your device: resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep duration, and step count. This data is displayed on your dashboard and never leaves your device to our servers — it is processed locally.
Profile Information
To personalize your experience, we collect your date of birth, biological sex, height, starting weight, goal weight, medication name and dose, and fitness preferences (experience level, workout location, schedule).
Diagnostic & Performance Data
We use Sentry to collect crash reports and performance data when the app encounters an error. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity. It helps us fix bugs quickly.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the app — displaying your data, calculating macro targets, generating workout plans, tracking injection streaks, and producing provider reports.
- To personalize your experience — tailoring workout difficulty, protein targets, and recommendations to your profile.
- To generate AI-powered features — workout plans and nutrition logging use AI models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) via secure server-side calls. Your data is sent to these models to generate responses and is not used to train them.
- To manage your subscription — we use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and track your subscription status.
- To fix bugs — crash and performance data from Sentry helps us identify and resolve issues.
We do not use your health data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating Zynta for you.
Third-Party Services
Zynta uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy.
Supabase
Our database and authentication provider. Your account data and health logs are stored on Supabase servers hosted in the United States. Supabase Privacy Policy
RevenueCat
Handles in-app purchase processing and subscription management. RevenueCat receives a customer ID and purchase receipt — not your health data. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Sentry
Collects anonymized crash reports and performance traces when errors occur. No personal health data is included in these reports. Sentry Privacy Policy
Anthropic (Claude) & OpenAI
Used server-side to generate workout plans and assist with nutrition logging. Relevant portions of your profile (not your full history) are sent to generate a response. These providers do not use your data to train their models under our agreements. Anthropic Privacy Policy · OpenAI Privacy Policy
Apple HealthKit
Zynta requests read-only access to specific HealthKit data types. We do not write any data back to Apple Health. HealthKit data is processed on-device and displayed in the app — it is not transmitted to our servers.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a secured Supabase database in the United States. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use row-level security so that each user can only ever access their own data — not another user's.
Sensitive values (such as authentication tokens) are stored in your device's secure Keychain, not in plain storage.
No security system is perfect. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@zyntawellness.com.
Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all of your personal data — including health logs, profile information, and workout history — is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Anonymized crash and performance data collected by Sentry may be retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — all your logs are visible within the app.
- Export your data — use the Provider Report feature to generate a PDF of your health data.
- Delete your account and all associated data — contact us at support@zyntawellness.com and we will delete your account within 30 days.
- Opt out of Apple Health — revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in your iPhone's Settings app.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Zynta is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
